West Virginia suicide prevention plans and initiatives
West Virginia’s suicide prevention activities are led by Prevent Suicide WV, West Virginia’s statewide suicide prevention program funded through the Bureau for Behavioral Health (BBH) and Bureau for Public Health within the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Prevent Suicide WV provides education, consultation and technical assistance services, intervention, follow-up, and support services for West Virginians as it relates to suicide risk and loss.
