Participants shared their personal stories and educated members of Congress and their staff about suicide prevention and AFSP’s federal policy priorities, including expansion of the National Violent Death Reporting System to all 50 states to improve the information collected on suicide deaths, and S.153 and H.R.274, Mental Health First Aid legislation. Other priorities were also discussed.
