The National Council for Suicide Prevention along with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and numerous behavioral health, military and veterans organizations are hosting the first-ever Rally to Prevent Suicide (www.rallytopreventsuicide.org) on the steps of the US Capitol on April 21, 2018 to send a message to Congress that suicide prevention needs to be a priority in the USA. Top leaders in the field of suicide prevention will be speaking along with individuals who have attempted suicide and families who have lost a loved one to suicide.

  • Handing out water
  • Escorting speakers to/from stage
  • Directing the crowd
  • Handing out signs to participants
  • Being a resource for event questions
