For many suicide loss survivors, the opportunity to connect with others who share a similar experience is an important step on the path toward healing. By receiving the training to lead a support group in your community, you can help establish a safe, nurturing support network.
Our training program course combines lecture, interactive discussion and role-playing, and shows you how to create and facilitate a support group to help people mover forward in the aftermath of a suicide.
*Survivors of suicide loss who want to start a support group
*current group facilitators and mental health professionals who want to strengthen their skills
*Non-clinicians should have at least one year of experience participating in a support group
*It is suggested that survivors of suicide loss wait at least two years after experiencing their loss
The registration is a 2-step process, please let us know if you don’t receive the prompt for the second step once you complete form 1 of registration
