As a survivor of suicide loss, have you ever wanted to talk to a leader in the field of suicide bereavement? This interactive workshop led by Dr. Jack Jordan, a nationally recognized expert in suicide bereavement research and clinical practice, will feature Q&A and topics including:
•Suicide Loss 101: Facts and myths of recovery
•How Is Grief After Suicide Different: Five common themes
•Pathways to Healing: Self-care, professional help and types of support
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide; those who wish to support a grieving survivor; and professional caregivers such as therapists and clergy who are working with survivors.
LOCATION: This workshop will be in Fargo, North Dakota. The exact location will be announced in March, 2018.
