Are you an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate student seeking an internship in the field of advocacy and public policy? If so, we hope you will consider an internship with AFSP’s Advocacy and Public Policy Office.
About our internships
AFSP has filled all slots for the Fall 2016 semester. We are currently accepting applications for Winter 2017 internships (January-May). To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, college or university transcript, and 1-2 letters of recommendation to Trevor Summerfield, AFSP’s Director of Federal Policy, at [email protected].
Please note that all internships opportunities are unpaid and do require you to secure your own housing and transportation in the Washington, D.C. area.
AFSP Public Policy Associates assist the AFSP Public Policy Team in establishing and carrying out the organization’s public policy priorities and legislative agenda, and in maintaining and enhancing AFSP’s advocacy presence in Washington, DC and at the state and local levels of government.
