Inside the Research
Question: Does household and community trust and connection relate to suicide rates?
Strategy: Map the incidence of self harm across 180 villages in Sri Lanka and perform an ecological analysis to determine the association of self harm with social capital (trust and connectedness in the community).
Impact: Public health suicide prevention initiatives.
