Inside the Research
Question: Are there early warning signs of risk for suicidal behavior?
Strategy: Use two youth databases (LONGSCAN-Longitudinal Studies of Child Abuse and Neglect; and FFCWS-Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study) to learn about the trajectory of mental health and suicidal ideation and behavior.
Impact: Identification of early age-specific risks of suicidal ideation and self-harm.
