H.U.G.S. (Healing & Understanding of Grief from Suicide) General
AFSP makes the support group listings directory for suicide loss survivors available as a public service and does not run, recommend, endorse, or fund any of the groups listed. In addition, we do not monitor individual groups and only update information as it is made available to us by the facilitators and/or sponsoring organizations.

The group meets continuously throughout the year. Meetings are held twice a month on the second Thursday of the month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

H.U.G.S. provides general group on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Any survivor of a loss to suicide, to include parents and grandparents, may attend at our St. Stephen’s location.
H.U.G.S. also provides a Parent/Grandparent group that meets the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at our office location.
This group is open, which means that new members may join at any time.

H.U.G.S. is a support group for people who have lost a family member or friend to suicide. It is our mission to offer healing, support, understanding, and education in order to empower the survivor through the grieving process. We will offer a safe environment where confidentiality and individual differences will be honored in a respectful and appropriate manner.
