SOS Support Group
AFSP makes the support group listings directory for suicide loss survivors available as a public service and does not run, recommend, endorse, or fund any of the groups listed. In addition, we do not monitor individual groups and only update information as it is made available to us by the facilitators and/or sponsoring organizations.

The group meets continuously throughout the year. Meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays. Please contact us for meeting times.

This group is closed, which means that new members may join only at specific times or under certain circumstances.
This is a closed group and requires a face-to-face meeting with a facilitator to determine readiness, which takes approximately 25-35 minutes. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.

West Texas Counseling & Guidance
Our SOS support group is a peer support group for survivors of suicide loss. The group has two co-facilitators, a survivor of suicide and a licensed therapist. The SOS group is not a therapy group. Members of the group receive support, guidance, understanding, compassion, comfort, resources, belonging, and social interaction from others who have lost a loved one to suicide.
