AFSP makes the support group listings directory for suicide loss survivors available as a public service and does not run, recommend, endorse, or fund any of the groups listed. In addition, we do not monitor individual groups and only update information as it is made available to us by the facilitators and/or sponsoring organizations.

The group meets continuously throughout the year. Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Sunday of the month from 12:00 pm (noon) to 2:00 pm.

Group Demographic

SOS-Survivor of Suicide Support group has been in existence for 10 years.  Facilitated by Theresa Wellman, who lost her husband to suicide 8 years ago, and alternately, Therapist Ron Masters, who lost his brother to suicide.    All survivors of suicide aged 16 and above are welcome.

Group Type

This group is open, which means that new members may join at any time.


You are invited to call before you come, or simply show up at the Sunday meeting, and know you will be welcome.

Additional Information

There are a limited number of Parking Places behind the Library.   There is also a parking garage one block East of the Library.  Street parking all around is metered.   Sundays are free.

Please feel free to call the facilitator before your first meeting, if that makes you more comfortable.  If you are traveling a long distance to attend, always please contact the facilitator to make sure there is no emergency change of schedule.
