As this event is held on a Saturday, the parking lot on the west side of the building will be available for use. The building may be locked, but there is a door bell and intercom system to unlock remotely. Signs will be posted at the front door on the East side of the building.

In the interest of creating a safe space for loss survivors, most events are specific to survivors of suicide loss. In addition, many events cannot accommodate children and teens. If you have any questions, please contact the event host directly.

Each year, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention supports hundreds of large and small Survivor Day events around the world, in which suicide loss survivors come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. While each event is unique and offers various programming, all feature an AFSP-produced documentary that offers a message of growth, resilience and connection.

Additional Information

Although times are listed from 10-1, time may be extended according to the size and needs of the group or individuals attending. There will be vegan and gluten free options available for lunch. Opportunities for socializing and sharing as much or little as you wish. You may bring a picture of your loved one if you wish.  We welcome survivors and those in supportive roles, either representing an agency, attending to gain more insight as to how to be a more effective helper,  or supporting a friend.  This event is a safe place for survivors and is respectfully closed to media.  This is a free event but we welcome donations to support our work in the communities we serve.
