Additional Information

Scotts United Methodist Church is honored and proud to be a community host of this year’s INTERNATIONAL SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE LOSS DAY!

At the event, we will be viewing two short films from the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and we’ll have speakers in the field and personal testimonies, as well as food and fellowship. Please come and share your story (or come just to listen), and receive additional resources about prevention, crisis, and awareness to share with others. If you have lost a loved one to suicide, please submit and/or bring a picture of your loved one to the event so that we can all honor and give acknowledgments.

About Project W.I.N.G.S

Our mission is to provide support for survivors of suicide loss and all those affected by depression and grief. We must help heal, prevent, and eliminate deaths by suicide. We need each other to survive.

Project W.I.N.G.S is a nonprofit organization that seeks to prevent and decrease the number of suicides and suicide attempts in our communities; we believe that every life is God-given and worth saving. To reach this goal, we provide social services in conjunction with other mental health and social agencies, as well as through partnerships with other community organizations.
