Survivor Day is the one day a year when people affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope. Discover more about Survivor Day.
Mourning Hope Grief Center exists to support children and families that have experienced the death of any significant person. We encourage participants for the Survivor Day event to register early due to limited space at the center. The event will include
- An opportunity to share your story and remember your significant person who has died by suicide
- Memory making and reflection through art
- A screening of The Journey: A Story of Healing and Hope (27 mins.) and The Journey Revisited, a new follow-up featurette to the original film (20 mins.)
- Breakout discussion groups
Please know that there will be a professional clinician on hand for those that may need additional resources and support. Please see our website for additional programming information.
