The Venues and The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Southwest Missouri are co-hosting this event.

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Southwest Missouri reduces suicides through Education, Dialogue, and Hope! The Coalition was established in 2009 and includes members from the community who are education and mental health professionals, suicide survivors, community crisis workers, survivors of suicide loss, and local youth. Along with hosting outreach events throughout the year, SPCSWMO provides Signs of Suicide (SOS) training to families and community members who work with local youth. and

The Venues is co-hosting this event to provide a safe space for survivors to gather and to feel welcomed with no fear of judgement.  This event will not have any faith-based component.  We have lost loved ones in our own community to suicide and will be healing with you.  We aspire to create a world where every life is driven by love and feel this is an important community to support.

We will not be allowing media at this event.

Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is not intended for children under 12, or for children or adolescents who are currently struggling or suicidal.  Guardians, please use your best judgment when deciding whether to let those in your care attend.
