Tell us a little bit about your background – personal and/or professional.

I relocated from Allen, TX to Fort Myers, FL in 2019 with my husband. We wanted to be closer to family and it was the perfect time since our son was going to college out-of-state. I am a seasoned benefits professional and enjoy educating and assisting people related to the benefits available to them.

Where did you grow up?

Upper Marlboro, MD & Vienna, VA - suburbs of DC

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

Attending sporting events, playing/walking our dog and my guilty pleasure -- watching the Housewives on Bravo.

What might someone be surprised to learn about you?

I can drive a stick shift.

Why did you become involved with AFSP-SWFL?

I know there was a need for volunteers and after learning about it, I wanted to get inolved..

What was your first introduction to AFSP?

I saw a flyer in Carrie Niedert's (my coworker) office for the 2021 AFSP walk in Naples which I attended.

What is one of the most important things you would share with the community about AFSP?

It's a great organization which provides many resources to those who want it.
