Pride Pathways: 90-Minute Presentation
Pride Pathways: Suicide Prevention for LGBTQ+ Communities and Allies is a 90-minute presentation, available both in person and virtually, designed to deepen understanding of how suicide impacts the LGBTQ+ community. The program is intended for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies interested in fostering supportive, inclusive, and affirming environments that promote LGBTQ+ mental health. Explore key takeaways below.
Pride Pathways: Conference
In addition to offering a stand-alone, 90-minute presentation of the Pride Pathways education program (described above), AFSP also offers Pride Pathways: A Suicide Prevention Event for LGBTQ+ Communities and Allies — a full day of programming including the 90-minute presentation and additional plenary and breakout presentations.
Participants will not only learn key takeaways from the 90-minute presentation, but will also explore additional topics including LGBTQ+ advocacy, approaches to supporting LGBTQ+ youth, and strategies for self-care and community care.
