Prevention in every Parish

AFSP Louisiana has set a goal to bring at least one prevention education program to every Louisiana parish in 2024 – but we cannot do it alone. We’re calling for all community leaders, agencies, and stakeholders to help us bring suicide prevention to the entire state! 

We've already presented life-saving suicide prevention education to communities in Calcasieu, East Baton Rouge, and Orleans Parishes. Help bring prevention to your parish this year! Follow our progress here and on @afsplouisiana on Facebook, X (Formally Twitter), and Instagram. 

Who should join us: 

  • Schools, organizations, businesses, state agencies, mental health organizations, providers, community leaders, etc.
  • Outreach staff, faith-based leaders, youth organizations, healthcare agencies, industry professionals.
  • Anyone interested in helping AFSP Louisiana reach every parish in 2024!
