Kentucky Chapter Sponsors
Funds donated to AFSP go towards research, prevention education programs, loss and healing resources, and advocacy. Our Out of the Darkness Walks are our largest source of funding to be able to deliver these programs and resources to the community, in addition to giving those affected by suicide a chance to come together in support and healing. Our sponsors play a huge role in making these events happen! With most sponsorship opportunities starting as low as $250, it is easy for businesses and groups of any size to support suicide prevention in their community! Sponsor packets can be easily customized for specific programs or multiple events as well!

2021 Sponsor Highlights
ICAP is a long-time sponsor of the Louisville Community Walk! Two of their employees helped found the original walk 20 years ago and remain involved in support of the event to this day. After a close loss last year, ICAP was a Be The Voice Sponsor at $20K for the 20th annual Louisville Walk last year! Thank you to ICAP for their continued support!
Cheetah Clean Carwash has been a Be The Voice Sponsor for the Bowling Green Walk for the last two walk seasons, donating over $10K each year as a result of a statewide annual fundraising day! We are so grateful for their support as we grow our reach in the Bowling Green area!
Louis T Roth was a new sponsor for the Louisville Walk in 2021. Their passionate employees, along with the company, pledged over $10K to support suicide prevention last year! We are so grateful for their support!
UAW Local 862 has been a long-time supporter of the Louisville Walk, donating over $5K per year in addition to providing tents, volunteers, and chaplains for this event! The Louisville Walk is so grateful for their continued support!
The TEGNA Foundation with WHAS11 was a new sponsor for the Louisville Walk in 2021, although they are longtime supporters of this event! Not only does WHAS provide extensive news coverage to help promote and highlight the Louisville Walk, their very own Hayley Minogue sits on our walk planning committee!
Samtec is an annual supporter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! Not only do they support the Louisville and Floyd & Clark Counties Walk, but we have received a grant from them to start SafeTALK and ASIST trainings throughout Kentuckiana! Samtec sends volunteers and has teams for both of these events as well!
These three restaurants together host 6 fundraisers for the Kentucky Chapter annually, donating over $5K to the Louisville Walk each year! In addition, these restaurant partners helped us distribute mental health resources to the community throughout the pandemic. We are so grateful for their passion and commitment to helping us #StopSuicide!
THANK YOU KENTUCKY CHAPTER SPONSORS!
Whether you sponsor for $250 or $25,000 you are making a huge difference across Kentucky and Southern Indiana! Because of your support, we are creating a culture that is smart about mental health and have brought suicide rates down across the country for the past two years!
