Inside the Research
Question: How do the ways people make decisions relate to suicidal behavior?
Strategy: Participants complete two novel tasks assessing decision-making, and escape behaviors under aversive contexts. Individuals with suicidal ideation are compared to those who have made a suicide attempt.
Impact: Understanding the role of decision-making in suicidal behavior.
