Advocacy Action Days in Washington State

This February a team of AFSP volunteers met in Olympia to meet with our Washington State Legislators.  We kicked off the day with our mental health champion, Senator Orwall, and powered through the day meeting with ten different offices.  We advocated for more support in our schools and continued funding for 988, it was a meaningful day not only to raise awareness, but to continue the conversations from previous sessions, and to do the mission of AFSP, bringing HOPE to those affected by suicide.  Consider joining us next legislative session!
