On Saturday, Feburary 1, AFSP Louisiana was presented an award for Outstanding Strategic Partnerships and Innovative Strategies at the 2025 Chapter Leadership Conference in Houston!
AFSP Louisiana has cultivated strategic partnerships to increase funding, deliver more programs, mobilize advocates, and help position the chapter as a Louisiana’s leader in suicide prevention. Prevention in Every Parish and partnership with Rain Will Bring Flowers, University of Louisiana - Prevention Education Partnership, Behavioral Health Day at the Capitol with Louisiana Mental Health Association, Louisiana Suicide Prevention Collaborative, National Academies Gulf Coast Research Grant, and more!
