We are excited and honored to announce AFSP Louisiana received four awards at AFSP's annual Chapter Leadership Conference, including Chapter of the Year (mid-size market)!
Outstanding Chapter Education and Programming for delivering programs to 10,000+, the 30 Programs in 30 Days initiative, and education/training partnerships with University of Louisiana System, Calcasieu Parish School District, Louisiana Mental Health Association, and many other incredible education partners.
Outstanding Chapter Support of Research for bringing research to the community by hosting four Research Connection webinars - more than any other chapter!
Century Club for the Greater Baton Rouge Walk - first time in chapter history! Special Thanks to our amazing committee and our top team the Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation for helping us reach this great honor! 
Chapter of the Year - Mid-Size Market for outstanding support of research, edudcation, advocacy, and loss and healing initatives and AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. 
Words could not express how grateful we are to YOU. You are the reason why AFSP Louisiana continues to lead efforts to prevent suicide. We share these awards with you - our incredible volunteers, presenters, team captains, walkers, education partners, and supporters who helped our chapter reach more people than ever in 2023! And we thank you for the time and energy you dedicate every day to help create a world without suicide. 
Special thanks to all the incredible volunteers and our amazing Board of Directors for their support and leadership.
