Elizabeth has a Masters in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, with more than 20 years in the field of counseling and management. She currently works with active duty service members as the Regional Supervisor for the Military and Family Life Counseling Program (MFLC). Elizabeth provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff supporting all service branches of the Armed Forces, across 32 military installations throughout the state of California; more than 250 regionally dispersed Licensed Mental Health Clinicians. She has also worked as a Director at a social service agency where she managed many diverse programs supporting all ages and demographics. Elizabeth is experienced with populations to include: grief and loss, youth mentoring, single parent case management, employment, regional case management, treatment level foster care and hospice.
Elizabeth is a rare San Diego native, married and the mother of two high school age daughters. When she is not working she is encouraging her daughters varied activities to include soccer, golf, dive and philanthropic support with the National Charity League.
Elizabeth serves as the AFSP Board President and is a Loss and Healing Committee Co-Chair.
