Tell us a little bit about your background – personal and/or professional.
Carly Paro-Tompkins is a counselor educator, licensed mental health, counselor, and qualified supervisor. She has been involved with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since 2013 when she first volunteered for She has been involved with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since 2013 when she volunteered for her first Survivor Day. She has since joined the board and remains committed to AFSP and support individuals that struggle with suicide and have been effected by suicide loss.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Swimming, boating, and kayaking- really anything involving the water.
Why did you become involved with AFSP?
Personal loss and professional passions.
