Tampa, FL

Louisville, Kentucky
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy traveling, discovering new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors with my kids.
I became involved with AFSP because I believe mental health deserves greater awareness, support and open conversation. Losing my mother was a driving factor in my involvement, and I'm passionate about contributing to a mission that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives and our community.
When I lost my mom I was seeking research and resources when I learned about AFSP. I immediately signed-up as volunteer and started "Talk Saves Lives" presentation training.
What is one of the most important things you would share with the community about AFSP?
I want to emphasize the importance of creating space for open, honest conversations about mental health. Simply checking in and asking someone how they are truly feeling can make a big impact. AFSP plays a vital role in encouraging those conversations and helping people feel seen and supported.
