Tell us a little bit about your background – personal and/or professional.

I am currently employed as a Sr. Administrative Assistant. I was born in New Jersey, but consider myself a Florida Native, since my family relocated when I was five. I am currently residing in Daytona Beach, with my husband, children and our 2 Olde English Bulldogges.

Lake Mary, Florida

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

Shopping and Volunteering

 What might someone be surprised to learn about you?

I have a degree as a Paralegal.  
Why did you become involved with AFSP-CFL?
I lost my middle child to suicide in 2021.
What was your first introduction to AFSP?

The 2022 Orlando Walk. My family and I attended, and it had such an impact on us, that I contacted AFSP and became the walk chair for the First Volusia County Out of the Darkness Community Walk, we are currently planning our third.

What is one of the most important things you would share with the community about AFSP?

With their many programs and Community Walks, AFSP holds true to their mission statement to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

Anythying else you'd like to share?

I am grateful to be a board member and I hope to continue to make an impact in our community.

What are three unexpected items on your desk?

A whale cell phone holder given to me by an ex-co-worker, a magnet from Washington DC, and a container of Christmas Berry Scentsicles.
