AFSP Louisiana has set a goal to bring at least one prevention education program to every Louisiana parish – but we cannot do it alone. We’re calling for all community leaders, agencies, and stakeholders to help us bring suicide prevention to the entire state!
And we are not stopping there. As part of our stragetic initative, AFSP Louisiana and the Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation have set a goal to bring suicide prevention education to 100,000 Louisiana students, teachers, parents, and community members!
As of March 2025, we've presented suicide prevention programs to students and teachers in 20 parishes!
The Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation has been instrumental in bringing AFSP's It's Real: Teens and Mental Health to schools across Louisiana. Follow AFSP Louisiana and The Rain Will Bring Flowers Foundation on Facebook for updates on our progress!
