Learn more about the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and connect with our local National Capital Area Chapter (NCAC) serving Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia.
Our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. We are dedicated to creating a culture that’s smart about mental health through education, loss and healing support, advocacy, and research. As a voluntary organization, our grassroots efforts engage families, mental health professionals, community and local business leaders, school administrators, and others interested in preventing suicide.
