Why did you become involved with AFSP?

After losing my dad to suicide, I always felt the need to give back to help others. I took many years to work on my own healing and grief, and after attending a Survivor Healing Summitt, I decided to be involved and volunteer with AFSP.

What is one of the most important things you would share with the community about AFSP?

AFSP does so much for raising awareness of suicide prevention and supporting those who are grieving a loss that there is a place for anyone looking to volunteer! We are very welcoming community to all people.
