Tell us a little bit about your background – personal and/or professional.
Kizzy-Ann Rose is an award-winning Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience in the counseling field. She is the founder of Kizzy Rose Therapy, LLC, where she provides compassionate and comprehensive mental health support through individual, couples, and family therapy. In addition to her private practice, Kizzy works with UnitedHealthcare to help ensure clients receive quality mental health coverage. She is also a Qualified Supervisor, mentoring and guiding master’s-level clinicians on their path to licensure. Kizzy is a proud volunteer with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) Southeast Chapter. Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with her son.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Dancing, trying new restaurants and going on fabulous cruises around the world!
What might someone be surprised to learn about you?
I wanted to be a professional dancer for major theatrical productions.
Why did you become involved with AFSP?
Since my early days working in the field of counselling I have been an advocate for suicide prevention.
