AFSP’s Priority Legislation Sees New Momentum on Capitol Hill

Earlier this summer, hundreds of AFSP Volunteer Advocates from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C., for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s 2025 Advocacy Forum.  

Thanks to the incredible advocacy of our passionate Volunteer Advocates, both at the in-person Advocacy Forum and through our Action Center, we’ve seen new momentum on our priority legislation — making it clearer than ever why our voices matter. 

 Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act
